A 24-hour creative challenge for experienced composers in media and post-production.
This project explores how generative AI functions as:
• A tool
• A collaborator
• A creative systemConducted as MBA research. Findings published Summer 2026.
Score a 30-second advertisement from a provided brief and standardized video.

Where value resides
No prior experience with AI tools is required to participate. Many professional composers are still evaluating how, or whether, these technologies intersect with their existing creative practices. This study does not assume familiarity, proficiency, or prior adoption.
To support informed experimentation, participants will be provided with a directory of currently available AI tools. This directory is offered strictly as a neutral resource to map the existing landscape, not as an endorsement or recommendation of any particular platform. Where possible, access to trial versions of selected professional systems will be made available to reduce financial barriers to exploration.
Participants are free to engage with these tools to whatever extent aligns with their own creative and professional judgment.
